![]() It also let’s me set up repeating reminders. Remind me to start cooking that chicken at 5:00 pm. Reminders also let’s me schedule things to remind me at a certain time. Remember to call Joe Schmo about that thing. Reminders is for things I want to do and that will go away once I’ve done them. It’s always about information I may want sometime later and so have stored away. I have notes for how I solved a computer problem (in case it happens again), what happened in a meeting, what brand and color the paint in the living room is… stuff like that. Complex notes, sub tasks, timers, automated folder movements, dynamic tasks based on GPS or other triggers, etc.įor me, Notes is about storing information I will need later. This should show you the depth each individual task item can have. If you use reminders and tasks lists as a key part of managing your ADD/ADHD and are using them on a daily basis then I think it’s easily worth the money, especially as an improvement over the regular reminders app. If you’re just making some task lists here and there, or using it for the weekly grocery store run, then I probably wouldn’t recommend spending the money on Things. It’s expensive but, I think it’s worth it if you’re heavily invested in reminders. You can edit lists, check off items, add tasks, make new lists, etc. One of the best features in my opinion is that Things has Siri integration that’s just as deep as the reminders app provided by Apple. I’ve included some screenshots to show it’s general layout as well as some views of individual tasks or task lists inside of some of the overarching themes like “vehicle maintenance” or “Python development”. It’s a lot more robust when it comes to options and customization than the stock reminders app. I have it on my iPhone, MacBook Pro, and iPad. It’s a paid app but it’s well worth the price in my opinion. I moved from reminders app to Things app. I also have ADD so as you’re obviously well aware, organization and tracking is a must for any sort of stability in life or success in your career. The reminders app is good, and I used it as my main organization/list/reminders app for a long time. /r/iOSSetups for iOS wallpapers, setups, and apps./r/AppleSwap if you want to trade devices!.Keep an eye on temporarily free or discounted apps on /r/AppHookup!.Your iPhone broke?
